JPG to PDF under 100 KB

Portals often want a certificate as a PDF even when all you have is a photo of it. Add the photos (JPG or PNG, up to 20) in page order; each one becomes a page, fitted on A4 with a thin margin, and the whole PDF is brought under 100 KB.

It starts in Grey, which suits most documents. For typed pages, Black & white keeps them sharpest at this size; for a photo ID with colours, switch to Colour.

Taking a photo that compresses well

Lay the paper flat in daylight, hold the phone straight above it, and fill the frame with the page. Shadows, a tilted page and the floor around it all cost bytes and make the text harder to read once it is small.

Why not rename the JPG to .pdf?

Changing the file extension doesn't make a PDF; portals check the file's contents and reject it, sometimes only after you have paid the fee and submitted. This tool builds a real PDF around each photo, the kind any viewer opens, and the size you see in the readout is the size the portal sees.

Several photos go into one PDF in the order shown, so a two-sided certificate becomes one file with the front first. Most portals want one file per document, not one per page.

Page size

A4 is the default because most Indian portals ask for it; Letter is there for US forms. Page = photo size makes each page exactly the shape of its photo, with no margin, which suits ID cards and receipts.

How to do it

1. Add your photos, in order (use the arrows to reorder).
2. Choose the page size. The target is already 100 KB.
3. Check the preview: zoom to 100% and read a line on each page.
4. Download the PDF.
